About Me

I first became mesmerized by this most glorious thing called "Belly Dance" a little over 25 years ago, yet it's only been during the last decade that I have truly allowed myself to become completely engulfed in all aspects of this ancient and magical art form.

The sheer beauty and spirituality of it is difficult to really put into words, it's something that has to be experienced to truly understand. It's so much more than gorgeous costumes and spellbinding music, it's "nourishment for the soul," a "spiritual and physical rebirth" ... a way of life! =

In fact, for me personally, the biggest joy I get from Bellydancing today doesn't just come from performing, but from passing on to my students, friends and "shimmy-sisters" the knowledge of this most beautiful and sacred of dance forms through the classes I teach.
